Occupational rehabilitation (occ rehab) in Australia continues to have exponential turnover of staff in their rehabilitation counsellors, employment consultants and basically anyone who touches it with a stick!
Why do you ask? Well they haven't moved through some simple units of quick tip tricks on occ rehab. Who can do this course you ask? Anyone. I truly mean anyone and well having the knowledge that I have now about how GP, specialists, occ rehab people, and insurers it is no wonder I get people asking me what gives???
Well I would say that what gives is that those people make a ton of money running over injured workers, employees, and anyone in their path for one thing money! Well, this course is being created by someone who thinks those things SUCK and that anyone should be able to self-assess their abilities with some SIMPLE tools.
Your use of these tools will be 'unmedical in nature' because you may or may have not done the work but I can tell you being armed to attend to a GP surgery, insurer, or related its quite easily a lion's den.
So strap in and lets crumble their pedestals and help you get your life back today!
And look, I got out of rehab work about 2 years ago and well I think of all those regional and rural people affected by a work injury. I also thought about the stuff they are put through with employment consultants, rehab providers and insurers and thought surely there is a way to 'arm them' to be able to help them fight.

Your Instructor
I have over 15+ years as a Social Worker in USA and Australia combined. I have worked in occupational rehabilitation, counselling, child protection, branch committee management, not-for-profit, and three years running the Help Now Group. I have very simple goals in mind
- Decentralised knowledge to spread it as far and wide as I can
- Delivery a high quality vehicle for peer support to clinicians
- Actively reducing barriers to support
- Advocacy nationally for safer workplaces, trauma informed practices, and more
I hope you enjoy the courses I have prepared and charging the minimum is important to me because I know you will invest it back into practice and support for others.
